John Wooden on Success

Loving basketball and growing up in Southern California led me to worship John Wooden.  His success while coaching the UCLA Bruins college basketball team is unsurpassed.  So when Mr. Wooden shared his insights on "success" on the TED website, I couldn't wait to watch it.  I loved what he had to say and I think you may like it, too. 

Digital Photography Books

One of the first books I read regarding digital photography I actually received as a gift (thanks, Susanna!).  It was Scott Kelby's "The Digital Photography Book - Book 1".  It's filled with great images and funny, easy to understand instructions about a variety of photography styles - sports, landscapes, flowers, people and weddings.  He has since published two more books in the series and, yes, I own them, too (thanks, again, Susanna!).  I quickly gathered a bunch of invaluable tips to improve my photography.  And, the lessons apply if you're using a Point-and-Shoot or an expensive DSLR.  If you're into digital photography at all, you might want to check out the complete set.
